Map: Overview

Purpose: Show reports and project information, such as utilities, drainage, structures, etc. The map allows you to view the project and reports of your fellow users in a visually appealing, top-down way. Using the map, you can: 

  • Find a previously created report.
  • Find needed information from other users’ reports.
  • View project construction information and locations.
  • See an overview of multiple reports created by multiple people.
  • View what parts of the project have reports created for them.
  • Audit pay items and reports.
  • View the scale of completion for the projects.
  • Utilize comprehensive filters to complete all of the use cases above.

Map buttons/sections

  • Application drop-down: Select what module’s reports you want to see and filter on the map.
    • Each module will have filters specific to that module as well as common filters.
  • Select Alignment section: View the alignment that the center black crosshair is closest to.
    • Steps to utilize:

1. Move the black crosshair to the area you would like to find the alignment for.

2. Click the Select Alignment button.

3. Note that the alignment in the drop-down is now showing the nearest alignment.

    • If you would like to see where the alignment is on the map, click the Show Alignments button. Once selected, it will show the alignment as a series of purple diamonds.
  • Filter drop-down: Open/close the Filter drop-down to hide/show the filters if needed.
    • Auto Zoom to Filtered Yes/No buttons: Select if you would like the app to zoom into the filtered area once filters are applied.
